BILLY AWARDS

In 2002, the S.M.I.L.E. Board of Directors created the Billy Awards to recognize the contributors to the S.M.I.L.E. Newsletter - Put A S.M.I.L.E. On Your Face.  Each year, the membership votes on articles written by contributors based on three categories.  The winner is presented with the prestigious Billy Award.  The award is named after our first S.M.I.L.E. Clown - Officer Billy Club.

Pictured are the three Billy Award styles starting from the 2002 version in glass, the 2003 version in Plexiglas and the 2004 to current version on a granite pedestal with a clown nose mounted on top.  From the Collection of Mark Ruffennach.
